Last night, I found that for the first time in a long time (outside of the hospital) it was easier to have a conversation in Spanish than in English; not that speaking was easy, just that my Spanish was easier to speak/understand than the English of my companions. This morning I woke up at 5:30, laughing; I laughed myself awake with some silly dream I barely remember, but @hennypotter and @bailey were there and there was a stick of butter. And now it’s Friday and the air is cool and the sidewalks are scattered with dead cockroaches and I’m sipping mate as the residents round on the patients. #argentina (at Sanatorio Allende Centro)
