NPR: Once a century, the Transit of Venus
In case you missed the solar eclipse a few weeks ago, tomorrow you’ll have another reason to stare at the sky.
Venus will be passing between the earth and the sun in an event called The Transit of Venus. You will be able to see it from three in the afternoon until sunset.
And it’s the last time that an event like this is going to happen for another century.
Last week, we spoke with Doug Duncan, an astronomer at the University of Colorado about the best way to view the transit.
