#hero #when i was in kindergarten we did a MLK-day activity that had a picture of Martin Luther King Jr. with a thought bubble and the words I h... #we were supposed to draw a picture of our dream #then the teacher helped us write words to go with our picture #let me remind you we were in kindergarten #most kids drew/wrote that they wanted toys or cake or ponies - normal kid stuff #i don't remember what i drew - but i remember the words the teacher helped me write: that there would be no more war #i don't know how i even knew what a war was at that age - but i think this quote perfectly encapsulates my five-year-old perception of M... #and why he has been my hero since...forever
